Do you love all things reputation, digital engagement and community management, and have a passion for higher education in the UK? If you enjoy driving growth through building, delivering and managing a positive online presence for IU’s UK brand LIBF, this could be the role for you.

We are currently looking for a Community and Reputation Manager (m/f/d) to join our team. This is a full-time permanent position. The role is fully remote within the UK. Additionally, you will have the chance to attend occasional in-person meetings in London and Germany.

Your mission
  • Execute online reputation tasks: Actively manage and maintain LIBF’s online reputation across various platforms, forums and review sites by monitoring mentions and sentiment about our brand and responding promptly and appropriately to messages, wherever they are.
  • Daily interaction and engagement: Engage directly with our online community, handling comments and messages on third party platforms, review sites and support paid social media alongside our Social Media Manager. Address customer reviews and feedback to foster a positive brand image.
  • Support reputation management efforts: Assist in the development and implementation of practical strategies focused on enhancing LIBF’s reputation within the UK market, identifying and utilising opportunities for brand growth.
  • Collaborate on content and PR: Work closely with social media, content, PR and design teams to ensure our brand message is consistent and well-received across all channels, contributing ideas and feedback based on community interactions and developing your own content that resonates and engages this online community.
  • Coordinate reports and provide insights: Regularly compile reports on reputation management activities using data and analytics to measure effectiveness and suggest actionable improvements for ongoing strategies.
  • Leverage external partnerships and cooperations: understand the marketing opportunities available through our partnerships and other third parties. Leverage these to the full to build LIBF’s trust and reputation.
Your profile
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing, community building, digital engagement and/or reputation management, in-depth knowledge of the UK Higher Education system and a university degree supportive of this role are highly desirable.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English with experience in dealing with both positive and negative sentiment, and managing prospects and customers on externally visible platforms.
  • A solid record of applying analytical skills to measure engagement, report campaign effectiveness and deliver ROI.
  • Excellent coordination skills, adept at rallying team members and external stakeholders towards common goals.
  • A creative problem-solver, demonstrating a growth mindset, eager to innovate, and ready to challenge the status quo.
